Why Email Addresses Can Be Hard to Find
Some search companies are up front about the difficulties of tracking down one's email address. For example, Veromi lets its users know that its databases do not reveal email addresses. This is because many Internet users use one of the many free Internet mail services, like Hotmail or Gmail, that does not require the person to identify themselves with their real name. This makes establishing connections between email users and databases it uses to search for information very difficult, Veromi says.
